The Resident Teacher at KMC Birmingham, Gen Leksang was ordained as a Buddhist nun by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in 2007. She has been studying under the guidance of the meditation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years and was first appointed as Resident Teacher at KMC Birmingham in 2008.

Known for her caring and positive manner, she has the ability to inspire people to improve their own lives by showing how buddha’s teaching are relevant to the experiences of modern day people.

You do not have to be a Buddhist to benefit from this course, our courses are designed to suit modern life living. No previous experience nor special clothing is required. Each course consists of a combination of guided meditations and practical teachings on how to apply the ancient teachings of Buddha to a busy modern life. This wisdom is derived from Modern Buddhism presented by our founder Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and is easy to understand and practice. You will learn the methods to let go of stress, worry and anxiety and improve the quality of your life and mental wellbeing by developing ways of maintaining inner peace and happiness regardless of life’s challenges.
