This half day course will focus on using Buddhist meditation and philosophy to develop emotional strength, inner stability, and the ability to bounce back from life’s challenges. 

This course is suitable for everyone, whether you are a beginner or more experienced

This day consists of guided meditation sessions with advice for quietening the mind and enjoying the silence we can find within.

During the breaks there is time to relax and reflect in our beautiful, spacious and peaceful centre away from the distractions and busyness of city life. Suitable for those new to meditation and for those with experience

You do not have to be a Buddhist to benefit from this course, our courses are designed to suit modern life living. No previous experience nor special clothing is required. Each course consists of a combination of guided meditations and practical teachings on how to apply the ancient teachings of Buddha to a busy modern life. This wisdom is derived from Modern Buddhism presented by our founder Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and is easy to understand and practice. You will learn the methods to let go of stress, worry and anxiety and improve the quality of your life and mental wellbeing by developing ways of maintaining inner peace and happiness regardless of life’s challenges.

No special clothing required, wheelchair accessible entrance, seating on chairs or cushions.
