Nagarjuna Kelmarsh Menorca Retreat

Purifying the Mind of Negativity

About This Retreat

The reteat will begin with an introduction on the Friday evening and then followed by four sessions per day. All sessions will be guided.

This is retreat offers a special opportunity to purify the mind of negativity and especially our delusions, which are the cause of our daily problems. If we did not have delsuions we would exerpience only peace and contentmen. When our delsusions are not functioning strongly our mind is relatively tranquil and contented, but as soonas anger, jealousy or desirous attachment arises they destroy our peace of mind like a sudden storm destroying the tranquility of an ocean. Even if we are in good physical health, when delusions manifest our mind becomes ill at ease.

The retreat will be based upon the Buddhist practice of meditation and recitation of solitary Vajrasattva, which will be explained at the free talk.

Teacher: Kadam Chris Heyes is the Resident Teacher of Nagarjuna Leicester KMC. He is a dedicated student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for over 26 years
