Over the 5-week course, Kadam Chris will teach simple and practical techniques showing how we can reduce our negative and busy thoughts through daily meditation practice and make our mind clear, peaceful and positive. Due to our negative habits of mind we often transform minor difficulties into big problems and as a result we experience alot of stress, misery and conflict. By learning simple meditation techniques and by adopting a positive attitude we can easily learn to solve most of our daily problems and come to enjoy peace and harmony however busy or difficult our circumstances.

Kadam Chris Heyes is the Resident Teacher at Nagarjuna KMC. He has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for 27 years. His teachings are practical and easy to apply to everyday life. Through his gentle and joyful approach and through his example, he has been helping many people find true happiness (in their hearts).
What are our Evening Meditation & Modern Buddhism Classes?
Our evening classes are organised as short courses, covering a wide range of engaging topics. You can attend the whole course or drop in whenever you wish, as each class is self- contained.
Each session includes a guided meditation and practical teaching on how to apply the ancient teachings of Buddha to a busy modern life.
