In order to develop our full potential, we need to correctly identify what our full potential actually is and what is holding us back. We also need to learn special skills to develop the full power and capacity of our mind.
Very often we are limited by our own bad habits such as distraction, procrastination and laziness and so we don’t fulfil our deepest wishes. There is often a gap between who we would like to be, and who we actually are and this causes both inner problems, such as low self-esteem and unhappiness, as well as outer problems in our relationships with others.
Through training in the meditation techniques presented in this course, we can discover how to develop the inner causes of happiness and become a happy person we long to be. We can begin or deepen an inner spiritual journey to inner fulfilment and peace. In this way, we can create a new experience of life and bring a whole new level of meaning to our daily activities.

What are our Evening Meditation & Modern Buddhism Classes?
Our evening classes are organised as short courses, covering a wide range of engaging topics. You can attend the whole course or drop in whenever you wish, as each class is self- contained.
Each session includes a guided meditation and practical teaching on how to apply the ancient teachings of Buddha to a busy modern life.
How Buddhist meditation can transform our lives.
Designed for people who would like a deeper understanding and experience of basic Buddhist principles such as human potential, impermanence, and karma, and how they can be applied to modern daily life. These classes combine practical teachings and of two guided meditations with an opportunity to discuss and ask questions. The classes are open to everyone. No previous experience required and can be attended on a drop-in basis.
After each class, there is an opportunity to meet the teacher. We also serve complimentary drinks in our World Peace Café, so that you can relax and reflect on the teachings before going home. Also, there is an opportunity to meet like-minded people.
About the class:
Our evening classes offer something for everyone; from complete beginners to those with previous experience of meditation. Each class is self-contained & will consist of guided meditations and practical teachings on Buddha’s helpful advice for solving our problems and finding lasting happiness.
Our Meditation rooms are wheelchair accessible, seating is either on chairs or cushions, and no special clothing is required.
