We all wish for our New Year to be prosperous and happy. Regardless of what your new year’s resolutions are, the end goal is the same- we want to be happier and free from problems, worries and stress. Discover through Buddhist teachings what to do in order experience happiness in 2019.
Monday 14th: How To Practice Happiness
In previous years, we tried hard to make our New Year positive. We put effort to follow through with new resolutions and adapted our external circumstances to make the best possible start to the year. However, so far old methods have not brought us what we have been looking for:- they have not been sustainable, and they have disappointed us again and again.
Join this evening class to learn practical meditations that will give you reliable methods to be happy, stay positive and enjoy your upcoming year.

About the Centre:
Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre is a part of The New Kadampa Tradition-International Kadampa Buddhist Union founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Located in the heart of the city, Leicester Meditation Centre is one of over 1200 Kadampa Centers and branches in 40 countries around the world where people can study and practice the teachings of Buddha.

What will each session consist of?
Each session will include a combination of teachings and guided meditations.
Do I need to bring anything or wear anything special?
No. You can choose to sit on a chair or cushions if you prefer to sit cross-legged. You don’t need to bring anything else with you, but some people like to take notes during the session, so feel free to bring paper and pen.
What if I’m new to this?
Everyone is welcome to participate and will benefit both new and experienced people alike. Our reception staff will happily recommend some follow-on reading or classes after the course if you are interested.
