Growing stronger through adversity 10 April

£10.00

Online or In-person

When: Saturday 10th April
Time: 10am – 12.45pm
Cost: £10 / Free for our Gold Members

About the Course:

Nobody seeks out adversity, problems, strife or difficulties. Nobody wants this in their lives.  Our usual response to these situations might be to try to escape, to complain, to feel weighed down, to feel miserable or even frightened.

However, these are not real solutions. If we are entirely honest with ourselves, we are always going to encounter adversity in our life.  It may feel that right now we are free from this but we know it will come again as that is the nature of living in this impure world.

How can we respond in a different way? How can we face adversity instead of being frightened by its appearance? Buddha teaches us a radical way of facing and making use of adversity – turning it to our advantage – making it work for us – so that it brings us peaceful, positive minds. We become so much stronger in this way, like a warrior who can face anything.

Do come along and find out more!!
