The Art of Positive Thinking

Sunday July 22nd 10.30am – 3.30pm

It’s difficult to practice positive thinking when you’re feeling anxious, worried or stressed; yet these experiences are common in today’s hectic world.

From the depths of our heart we wish to be positive and happy, in fact we wish to be happy all the time. We are always seeking happiness and yet lasting happiness eludes us. Furthermore, we so often experience mental pain, worry, stress and frustration and our lives can seem so complicated and dissatisfying.

On this course we will explore the art of positive thinking and how we all have the capacity to experience inner peace, which is the true source of happiness. We will learn some simple yet powerful meditations that help us to let go of stress and other painful states of mind and thereby enable us to enjoy peace of mind. By getting a taste of the healing power of meditation we can come to understand that true happiness is within our grasp and achieving it is actually simpler that we think.

The course takes place over 3  sessions. Each session includes guided meditation and some practical advice for healing the mind through Positive Thinking.

The emphasis of this Course is to discover the underlying causes of our worries and learn new, healthy ways of thinking, and free yourself from the harmful effects of these troublesome states of mind and acheive the art of positive thinking.
