In this mindfulness and meditation day course we shall be looking how to develop love without pain & problems. If we wish to enjoy good relationships, it is essential that we learn to distinguish between love and desirous attachment. Love will bring us only happiness whereas the mind of attachment will bring us only suffering.
The day will consist of teachings, guided meditations, a vegetarian lunch and time to relax and enjoy the World Peace Café.
Everybody is welcome, and the day will be suitable for both newcomers and those with some experience to meditation.
Ai Peng McBretney is the Resident Teacher at Dulzin Dragpa Centre in Epping. She has studied and practised Kadampa Buddhism for many years under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Through her experience of putting Buddha’s advice into practice, she presents the teachings in a clear and practical way that inspires us to develop inner peace, happiness and wisdom.
