How to Transform Your Life

with Kelsang Norpel

A series of classes based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s newly published How to Transform Your Life. This practical manual for daily life shows how we can develop authentic inner peace, overcome daily problems and bring about positive changes in our life that enable us to experience deep and lasting happiness. Each class consists of guided meditations and clear explanations, as well as an opportunity to ask questions.

Weekly guided meditations and Buddhist teachings are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners. General meditation classes are given as a series, but can also be taken individually.

Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis. Classes are held every week unless otherwise stated.

No special clothing is required. No pre-booking required.

Kelsang Norpel is Buddhist monk who is an inspiring and light-hearted teacher of modern Buddhism and has been teaching for over eight years, he makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to modern life.

About Kadampa Meditation Center Leicester

Located in the heart of Leicester, Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Center provides meditation classes and events and is home to the World Peace Cafe.

We have daily lunchtime classes from Mondays to Fridays 12.30pm – 1.00pm, so if you are shopping or working in town, why not drop-in for a relaxing meditation.

We offer evening drop-in classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sunday am (Free class once a month) Sunday pm, which is suitable for all, we also so have Saturday morning half-day courses, perfect introductory courses for beginners, or new to meditation. We also have day courses and our very popular Meditation and Meal evenings.

We also have Foundation Programme on Wednesday evenings which is a special meditation and study group for those wishing to deepen their understanding of Buddha’s teachings.

Our vegetarian World Peace Cafe is open from Mondays – Saturdays from 10.30am, our cafe is run by volunteers from all over the world. Our Cafe is closed the first Monday of each month.
