These day courses provide a special opportunity to deepen our understanding of particular aspects of the Buddhist way of life and meditation and are a great opportunity to meet with others trying to live this way of life.

Meditation leads to a peace of mind, harmonious relationships and a meaningful life. This course will introduce a range of basic techniques that will enable you to experience these benefits. It will include guided meditations and practical teachings on how to experience inner peace. Suitable particularly for beginners.
This day course is suitable for all levels from complete beginners to more experienced meditators and includes teachings, guided meditations, a delicious vegetarian meal and plenty of time to relax and chat.

Art of Enlightenment
Learn to draw the beautiful face of Buddha

About the course
This special workshop offers the opportunity to learn traditional Buddhist drawing. Paintings and drawings of Buddhas are used in meditation to inspire and encourage us to develop good qualities.
On this course qualified Kadampa Buddhist artist Kadam Chris Heyes will teach and demonstrate how to construct and draw an authentic image of Buddha. No previous experience or skills necessary - just enthusiasm.

About the course
A kind heart is a mental attitude that cherishes other people. If we carry this special feeling into our daily life it will have a beneficial influence on everything that we think, say and do.
On this day course we will learn how to develop a realistic view of the world based on an understanding of the equality and interdependence of all living beings. Through this view we can overcome problems, external situations will not disturb us, and our relationships with others will become harmonious.

Medicine Buddha Empowerment
A healthy and happy Mind

Through the empowerment of Medicine Buddha we receive special blessings that release us from outer and inner sickness. By relying upon Medicine Buddha we can overcome obstacles, be cured of physical and mental sickness and then be able to help others through healing actions and find a deep, lasting happiness and inner peace.
